The MIYA e.V. association, based in Eberswalde, is registered in the Frankfurt (Oder) register of associations. The non-profit and tax-privileged purpose of the association is the promotion of climate protection, nature conservation and landscape conservation within the meaning of the Federal Nature Conservation Act and the nature conservation laws of the federal states, environmental protection, coastal protection and flood protection (§ 52 II No. 8 AO) as well as the promotion of public education (§ 52 II No. 7 AO).
